QA Manager / Inspector (Machine Shop)
Our client is a recognized industry leader in the machining and fabrication of parts in the Oil and Gas industry.
Location:Brooks Alberta
Salary:$75 – 100k + Excellent benefits!
The skills that are required of the Quality Manager / Inspector are:
- 8-10 years experience in same or similar position
- Perform inspection of machined and fabricated parts to the required high company standards
- Review and identify all shop safety protocols and personal safety requirements
- Knowledge of standard inspection techniques and practices
- Knowledge and skill in reading measuring devices
- Knowledge of the product line from fabrication and machining processes to the assembly of the final product.
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing and machining environment
- Manual labor work experience is required
- Oil and gas industry experience is an asset
Quality candidates will have the following:
- Possess mechanical aptitude, with an eye for detail
- Be punctual, reliable, and willing to work flexible hours
- Willing to actively participate in the Environmental, Health and Safety programs
- Required to work safely, within standard policies and procedures
- Have excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Be a Canadian citizen.
