Relief Process Operator
ERCO Worldwide, a division of Superior Plus LP, is a global commodity chemicals company, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company is the leading worldwide provider of chlorine dioxide technology and one of the world's leading suppliers of sodium chlorate and sodium chlorite, used primarily for the manufacture of chlorine dioxide. The company's chloralkali products are used in the water treatment and pulp and paper industries. ERCO also designs and licenses large-scale, proprietary chlorine dioxide generators used to produce chlorine dioxide at pulp mills for the elemental chlorine-free bleaching process.
We are currently seeking a Relief Operator to work out of our Hargrave, Manitoba plant.
This position shares overall production responsibility for the site while working both 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts. The position requires both field and remote control room operations and also includes finished product handling, loading and rail car movements.
Education and Experience:
-Minimum High-School education, technical training will be considered an asset -3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with preference given to previous experience in the chemical and pulp & paper industry
Skills and Competencies:
- Works well in a team environment - 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is preferred - Exposure to industrial safety and environmental systems is an asset
