SENIOR CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT - Staff MANAGER
This position is in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory
One of Canada’s largest accounting services Firms is seeking a Senior Chartered Accountant Manager for its office in Whitehorse, YT. The applicant must be a qualified Accountant with CA, CMA or CGA designation and have a minimum of five (5) years of public accounting firm experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of audit planning and sampling software. You must fully understand accounting policies and audit techniques. Strong computer skills and expertise with MS Word, Excel, Caseware/Caseview and Taxprep are essential. A superior academic background as well as a stable employment history is necessary.
Several of the duties, include client audits (scheduling, planning, reviewing, budgeting, etc) as well as working closely with clients and assisting them with all aspects of accounting, as required.
As Staff Manager you will be called upon occasionally to provide leadership and coaching to the Firm’s Junior Staff.
