The team lead will be responsible for facilitating the individualized service plans for youth. Our agency has a strength based approach to meeting the needs of youth ages 12-20 who experience various challenges. This position requires team work, clinical knowledge in the areas of children development, assessment and intervention, strong verbal and written skills, and the ability to relate well to the youth. The team lead is responsible for assisting youth to access community resources to address their needs, facilitating education and vocation planning, providing group work and individual counselling, completing youth assessments and progress reports, and communicating with referral agencies and families.
The successful candidates preferred to have a degree in social work or related human services, experience working with youth, and an understanding of the First Nations culture.
