Position Description: VIBRATION ANALYST & ADMINISTRATOR
Site Analyst & Administrator required for service provider to the oil and gas industry for the execution of a comprehensive condition monitoring program. Candidate will work with a small technical team carrying out vibration analysis, performance analysis and oil analysis as well as thermographic and ultrasonic analysis.
The primary objective of this position is to provide technical direction and implementation of the program while acting as senior analyst performing advanced vibration analysis and diagnostics and overseeing application of multiple condition monitoring tools and techniques to deliver the scope of work. This role is accountable for daily hands on analysis and reporting on vibration and other condition monitoring data.
Further, this role is responsible for administration and coordination ofprogram and site activity, overseeing subcontractors and team members to ensure safe and successful program delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure services and reporting delivery on time, within established budget.
- Ensure safe work practices and that all staff members are in full compliance with HSE guidelines, practices and expectations.
- Supervise and coordinate assigned staff, engineers and technicians performing the service-related duties and documentation.
- Perform condition monitoring and analysis on critical plant machinery to ensure that all issues have a documented resolution and timely path forward and that lessons learned are addressed.
- Support Operations in identifying root problem causes, and provide the proper recommendations to improve reliability ensure a safe and reliable operation and facilitate ongoing improvement.
- Work with the Reliability, Maintenance and Condition Monitoring personnel to maximize service intervals while assuring reliable operation of rotating equipment and improve overall equipment efficiency.
- Ensure completion of condition monitoring surveys on time and to standards.
- Coordinate all activities relating to staff scheduling, EHS, workflow and employee training.
Skills/Experience:
- Pref erence will be given to candidate with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and CMVA Certification
- Minimum 5-10 years experience with industrial mechanical maintenance program administration, with preference given to those with refinery or petrochemical experience
- Have a working knowledge and experience in machinery vibration analysis as part of a condition monitoring and reliability program to the Category 3 level as defined by ISO 10816-2, and be ready to achieve this certification through Canadian Machinery Vibration Associaton within 4 months, if not already certified with equivalent (Vibration Institute)
- Have advanced working knowledge of other condition monitoring technologies, including oil analysis, thermography, motor current analysis and ultrasonics and their integration with vibration analysis.
