District/Area Manager wanted for Book/Newspaper stores - Edmonton based on the SE side of the city
We are currently looking for an experienced Area Manager for our existing client.
Must have at least 1-2 years experience in running a couple of small to medium boxes.
Must have a ferocious passion for books, newspapers and magazines and speak with authority on the different books, authors and topics.
Characteristics of what we are looking for:
Outgoing personality.
Visionary.
Resourceful.
Willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Diligent, hard working, and lead by example.
Have a humble, servant leadership attitude.
Must be able to work for long periods on your feet.
Must be able to work independently or part of a team.
Overtime is required periodically for this role.
Must have 2-4 years of multi unit experience.
Must be able to read profit and loss statements and do budgeting.
Our current Regional Director is an individual who is a calm and laid back personality style. He is looking for staff that both want to grow both personally and professionally.
