Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Tractor-trailer, Tractor-trailer B train, Flatbed, Refrigerated, Dry bulk
Type of Travel:
Long-haul, Provincial/territorial, National, International
Documentation Knowledge:
Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Trip reports
Weight Handling:
Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform brake adjustments, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Security and Safety:
Bondable, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Transportation/Travel Information:
Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods
Essential Skills:

Other:
