Marble Setters Foreman
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $24.01 hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Calgary South East, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Human Resources Responsibility: 1 - 5
Workers Supervised: Tilesetters, Apprentices, Trades helpers
Major Work Area: Construction, Repair, Restoration
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential
Specific Skills: Supervise workers and projects, Coordinate and schedule activities, Train or arrange for training, Set up machines and equipment
Additional Skills: Prepare production and other reports, Oversee apprenticeship training, Estimate material and labour costs
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Site Environment: Noisy
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle
Ability to Supervise: 4 people or less
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
